Packington Estate

Packington Shoot

Packington Estate has an excellent Partridge and Pheasant shoot that utilises the undulating topography to provide challenging sport for its guests. The shoot is run in conjunction with the farm and woodland departments and ensures management decisions are made in line with both environmental and Estate management considerations. The Estate is a member of the British Game Alliance (BGA) and subscribes to the BGA Code of Good Shooting Practice that sets out a framework which  enables shoot managers, guns, gamekeepers and their employees to deliver sustainable shooting, paying attention to the management of habitat and avoiding nuisance to others.  Full details of these standards can be found at  www.britishgamealliance.co.uk/standards

The game keeping department in conjunction with  the Estate owners and managers are responsible for all elements of running the Estate shoot from arranging and overseeing the planting of game crops, ordering poults through to selling, hosting and arranging shoot days.
